Pasta a Mano has quickly gained a cult following for offering authentic Italian street food in Wales. A business born on the back of a work trip at Osteria Fratelli Pavesi in Piacenza; Derw Robertson-Jacobs started “PAM” by offering fresh pasta kits to cook at home during lockdown 2020, which then took form in the shape of a trailer which he was gifted by a close friend with Italian heritage.

After successfully trading in Pembrokeshire, today Pasta a Mano is made up of both Derw and new right-hand-man Jack Martin. Hailing from Rhydlewis, Ceredigion, Jack completed his masters degree at the university of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. A keen traveller, he has followed his senses across Europe, experiencing flavours and food traditions first-hand.

Jack and Derw have crossed paths in the food world on many occasions, often just missing each other by a breadth. Having both spent a considerable amount of time in Northern Italy within the slow food and natural wine community, we are so excited to host them for this special Wright's Night.
