A rare wine that Joel himself had a hand in! When doing harvest with two friends in 2022 with the wonderful Anjou winemakers Mai & Kenji Hodgson, the three were offered the chance to barrel some Chenin themselves. Bottled the following spring in 2023 and rested for a year and a half before release, it is powerful, racy and quite opulent Chenin blanc, drinking well, but would also be wonderful with a little bottle age. A natural wine that makes you realise why Joel imports the stuff.
