Les Flâneurs, Auxey-Duresses, Burgundy
Laurence Cuthbertson and Nina Kunz met in New Zealand when they were both travelling, Laurence, originally from Bangor, North Wales and Nina from Switzerland, they got into natural wine in Georgia and worked in some great london wine bars and restaurants before setting off to learn how to tend vines and produce wine. After time in Switzerland and around France, they have settled near Beaune in Burgundy, integrating themselves into a vibrant community of natural winemakers, For now they purchase organic fruit from great vines, they have often tended, producing really delicious wines even in their very first vintage

100% Aligote, sometimes called the second grape of Burgundy, but in the right hands can make something delicious, like this, a wine that sings with bright yellow fruit and lovely texture.
